Swish and Swipe Enters The Wishing Shelf Book Awards
We are delighted to announce that Iris Brooker has entered its debut children’s picture book, Swish and Swipe – Emily’s First Day of School, into The Wishing Shelf Book Awards.
This marks another exciting milestone for Iris Brooker and for the beginning of the Swish and Swipe series.
Created to help young children explore important moments through gentle storytelling, familiar emotions and reassuring characters, Emily’s First Day of School introduces readers to Swish, Swipe, Emily and the world of Bus 11.
Entering The Wishing Shelf Book Awards gives the book the opportunity to be read, enjoyed and considered alongside a wide range of independently published titles.
For us, simply taking this step is something to celebrate. From a first idea to a finished book — and now to an awards entry — the journey of Swish and Swipe continues.
We are incredibly proud to see our very first children’s picture book take another step into the wider world.
